INOVASI NANO EKSTRAK BUAH APEL DALAM MENGURANGI KADAR KOLESTEROL

Abstract

The rate of hypercholesterolemia cases in Indonesia is still relatively high, with around 36 million Indonesians experiencing hypercholesterolemia. So curative efforts are needed to reduce the number of cases. One way is non-pharmacological by consuming apples. Apples contain a number of good components in them which can reduce cholesterol levels. It is hoped that the apple nanoparticle innovation can be a curative effort. The aim of writing this scientific work is to provide a clinical overview regarding the benefits of apples in reducing cholesterol levels. This scientific work uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data used in this scientific work are primary data and secondary data using the literature review method (article review). Based on existing clinical data, apples can reduce cholesterol levels. So to increase the effectiveness of apples, new innovations are needed, namely making products that can reduce cholesterol levels using nanoparticle-based apples.

Tingkat kasus hiperkolesterolemia di Indonesia masih terbilang tinggi, tercatat sekitar 36 juta penduduk Indonesia mengalami hiperkolesterolemia. Sehingga diperlukan upaya kuratif untuk menekan angka kasus ini. Salah satu caranya yaitu secara Non Farmakologi dengan mengonsumsi buah apel. Buah apel mengandung sejumlah komponen baik di dalamnya yang dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol. Inovasi nanopartikel buah apel diharapkan dapat menjadi upaya kuratif tersebut. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran berdasarkan klinik terkait dengan manfaat apel terhadap penurunan kadar kolesterol. Karya ilmiah ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data yang digunakan pada karya ilmiah ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder dengan metode telaah pustaka (review artikel). Berdasarkan data klinik yang ada, apel mampu menurukan kadar kolesterol. Sehingga untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dari apel perlu adanya inovasi baru, yaitu membuat produk yang dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol menggunakan apel berbasis nanopartikel.
